A few days ago, my sister, who is on holiday in China, sent me a photo of herself on a boat, with the Shanghai skyline behind her.
But what caught my attention most wasn’t the city.
It was her face.
She looked so happy and carefree, simply enjoying the moment, that I couldn’t help thinking I wanted to turn that feeling into a piece of jewellery.
And that’s how this ring was born: the Shanghai skyline transformed into metal.
My sister is a nurse, and I know that some days at work can be very difficult.
So I wanted her, on one of those difficult days, to be able to look at her hand and find a reminder of those beautiful days: no pressure, no problems, just enjoying an unforgettable trip to an amazing place.
Because sometimes a piece of jewellery doesn’t preserve a place.
It preserves how we felt when we were there.
Another Shared Story. 💙
