Six strangers. One shared journey. And eight pairs of arrows
Next week, I’m setting off on the Camino de Santiago.
I’ll be sharing the journey with five other people I don’t know 4 of them yet.
We’ll meet at Santiago airport and travel together to Sarria. That’s where our journey will begin.
I wanted to make them a little gift: a pair of earrings featuring the two arrows that will guide us along the Camino.
But I made six pairs… and then I thought they might not be enough.
Because who knows who we might meet along the way?
So I made eight pairs of earrings.
Six for the people I’ll be starting this adventure with, and two more, just in case someone crosses our path and becomes part of our story.
I don’t know what stories each of us will be carrying when we reach Santiago.
Or what conversations we’ll have, what landscapes we’ll share, or what memories we’ll take home with us.
But I do know one thing:
when the Camino is over, we won’t be six strangers anymore.
And these little arrows will be a reminder of how it all began.
Another Shared Story.
This time, one that is still waiting to be written.
