Starry Night – Sky and Ocean Earrings
€39.00
Long, lightweight earrings made from recycled steel and painted by hand, inspired by the colours and movement of Vincent van Gogh's The Starry Night.
Intense blues blend with greens and lighter shades to create an organic, dynamic pattern. Their elongated shape allows the colour and movement to take centre stage as you wear them.
Each pair is unique, as every piece is painted by hand and then kiln-fired with ceramic paint.
The result is a lightweight, colourful piece of jewellery where recycling and art come together.
A special piece for anyone who enjoys wearing small works of art.
Handmade in the Crisattelier workshop.

Caring for Your Jewellery
Every Crisattelier piece is handmade and needs a little care to preserve its beauty.
Avoid prolonged contact with water, perfumes, creams, chemicals and cleaning products.
When you are not wearing your jewellery, store it in a dry place, away from humidity and, preferably, separately to prevent scratches and friction.
Caring for ceramic-painted jewellery:
To preserve its original appearance, avoid strong knocks, chemicals, perfumes and prolonged contact with water. Although the ceramic paint is kiln-fired, gentle care will help preserve the finish and colours for longer.
Keep the piece dry and separate from other jewellery when you are not wearing it.
The ceramic paint protects the piece and gives it its distinctive finish. To keep it in good condition, avoid knocks and heavy rubbing, and do not use abrasive products or metal polish on the surface.
If you need to clean the piece, use only a soft, dry cloth.
The Story Behind the Piece
I love finding new ways to turn everyday materials into something we can carry with us as jewellery.
For these earrings, I started with recycled steel and one of my favourite works of art: The Starry Night by Van Gogh.
I was especially inspired by its blues, its swirling movement and the way the artist makes the landscape seem to be in motion. From that inspiration came my own interpretation, painted directly onto the metal.
Each piece then went into the kiln to fire the ceramic paint and set the finish.
A way of bringing what I teach at school into my jewellery at Crisattelier.
Entirely handmade in my Crisattelier workshop.
